soo I tried out the permanent uv gel french for b pics and I have had them for over 2 weeks and LOVEEEEEE them!!! I never had a whole set of fake nails before and they are amazing, doesnt chip and doesnt bother you typing at work!!!!

I just had this done as well and I love it! I believe I am on week 2 as well and they are still in perfect condition. Def. a lil pricey but for me not to have to worry about it chipping or anything like that, well worth it. I'm going to get them done again the week of the wedding.

I'm going to get this for the wedding as well. As much does it cost? The place I went to wanted $35 I think. I ended up getting just a uv coat on top but it's a few days later and chipping.

Not sure how much it cost (my mom paid for me to get it done the first time). I did not get any fake nails put on. It was the gel that goes right onto your real nail. They file down and shape your actual nail and then put the gel on which you harden under UV lamps. It's a little but of a long process the first time (like an hour and half) but after they are done that's it. No drying or anything needed. I have had any damage to them or need to file them or anything. I don't even realize that there is this extra gel on my nails.
I believe when you go back to get it filled, it's not as much money.

I def plan on doing this for the wedding & honeymoon. My nails are super weak and thin so I can never grow them out nicely. And I've done it once before and I loved it!

Oh ok I just got a top coat of uv gel polish on top of a regular manicure. I guess it's not as good

Jessie as far as I know when you get the regular uv gel polish they dont fill in but im not sure.
All I know is when I just got the uv polish mine chipped but now I have the tips with uv gel and they are awesome!!

yes you can just get the uv gel on your regular nails but when I did they chiped in about a week but supposely they last 2-3 weeks
I would do i trial on your nails

I've been getting the uv gel manicure for about 2-3months now. Its bascially just special nail polish they cure under the uv light. Its completely my natural nails. No fill-ins or anything. When i get a color I go every 2 weeks($25). I did french this last time and i can go 3 weeks because its more natural($35). I don't like how they take it off( with a drill) so i do it myself before i go. I soak my nails in pure acetone for about 5 mins then just buff off the rest of the polish. Its the best thing ever!!!!!!!

Also, sometimes depending on the color, it can look dull. If you just paint a clear coat of nail polish over them it gives you shine. and...if i get bored of the color I just paint over it(if the orginal color is light enough) with regular nail polish and it never chips.
