Re: Personal ....
That is a really good question . . . besides saying 'very carefully' I don't know.

Re: Personal ....
I am making my MOH (sister) to help me if I need her too. If you are not comfortable asking your MOH maybe ask a close family member.

Re: Personal ....
Someone (mother or MOH or a BM) goes in first to stand behind you and holds the back of your gown up. If the front is too poufy, you have to have someone else in the bathroom with you who will pull all of your undergarments down while you hold the front of the gown up. When you're doing your business, both ladies will be holding your gown up in front and back. If your gown isn't too poufy, you could probably handle pulling everything down and holding up the front of your gown, but you'll definitely need someone to hold up the back for you.
(Kind of embarrassed to admit this, but I know from experience... )

Re: Personal ....
I am planning on stepping out of my dress. Its a ball gown and I think that it would be easier that way.

Re: Personal ....
I had to help my sister, so when I was looking for a dress I only looked at those I could step out of. Silly, I know but I'll be more comfortable.

Can I just say that this sounds terrible I can just see me and my maid of honor now, laughing hysterically and getting nowhere.

I don't know if I could 'go' with other people in there...I'm hoping I will be so involved in other things...I won't actually have to worry about it durning the reception!

Re: Personal ....
my sister was in her dress and had to go before we went to the church... she stood facing me, lifted up the back of her dress and had me hold it... so your moh doesnt have to see anything.. and it helps alot...

Re: Personal ....
I would definitely wear a garter belt, so you don't have to take off stockings.

Re: Personal ....
I actually managed on my own - the hall had a seperate handicapped rest room that I claimed for me. I wore garters with stockings instead of pantyhose and my dress wasnt too big.

Re: Personal ....
I did it all by myself. I wasn't having anyone hold anything. I wasn't wearing full pantyhose so it was easier. You just lift the dress, watch your lipstick and squat!
