Are you and FH going to stop having ... for any period of time before the wedding to make the wedding night special? I think I might want to but I'm not sure for how long and how FH will feel about it.
(Sorry if this question offends anyone. )

You just don't know what you're missing !! No, you're right, we should be able to but we live together so it makes it a little more difficult. I'd like to though, even if it's just for a week.

Re: Personal Question...
We talked about it briefly, just mentioned it, Im not sure how long he will agree too..Im afraid if we make it too long then towards the end...closer to the date....we will give in and it will be a waste...I think a month would be the most, but not sure if he will agree to that yet ( he says thats nothing new anyway...ugghh men! )

Re: Personal Question...
When my best friend got married they stopped for 3 months! But she said it was the best the wedding night for many reasons.
I asked FH about this and he said... 'It wouldnt be any different.'
We are like an old married couple already because we have lived together for 4 years.

No, I'm not going to not do it for awhile. I don't think it'll make a difference.

Re: Personal Question...
What if you abstain for a motnh or so, and then that night ( esp. if it is a late wedding) you are too tired & don't, umm 'consumate your marriage'.
Would you be dissapointed. if you don' t have an early flight the next day, I guess there always is the morning. . .

That thought crossed my mind too..I have heard a lot of couples end up passing out...our wedding ends at 1am and we are having an after party..Im afraid on the wedding night I wont even know who he is by the time we get to the hotel

That's my fear! He actually already said if we don't that night, that would be fine since that's not what it's about for us. That would really suck to do all that planning and either fall asleep before we got the chance or do it to just do it and then it really sucks. Hmm. Maybe just a week then.

We're thinking a month, but I don't think that either of us could hold out that long.

Please, if we don't do it for a week, then he is going to be done in like 30 seconds. Nothing romantic about that.
