Are you and FH going to stop having ... for any period of time before the wedding to make the wedding night special? I think I might want to but I'm not sure for how long and how FH will feel about it.
(Sorry if this question offends anyone. )

Re: Personal Question...
I keep trying to prepare my FH for the possibility that we may be too tired that night to do anything. He insists that we will do it no matter what. Typical guy.

Please, if we don't do it for a week, then he is going to be done in like 30 seconds. Nothing romantic about that.
Now THAT is a good point...

It is true. If we don't do it for even a week, he won't last too long. He has a really high sex drive.

Re: Personal Question...
This just made me think of FH's ex-friend. We heard through another friend that his ex-friend told him that when he got married, on his honeymoon night, his wife wouldn't give him any, she just said NO. I understand sometimes you can be too tired, but if the one person does want it, how can you not give it that night? But she is not a nice person.

She doesn't sound like it! Yeah, I think if one of you wants to, at least that night, the other has to submit.

Re: Personal Question...
I am not planning on having crazy of the wall action just something romantic considering it is 'THE NIGHT'.........lasting long isn't really an issue cause i will honestly be bushwacked..........you have the rest of the honeymoon to get back in gear, not to mention the rest of your lives

Re: Personal Question...
I know. I don't want an hour of it, but I don't want two minutes of it either. But I really don't think it'll make a difference whether we don't do it or not. We have gone through periods where he is working nights that we didn't do it for awhile, and it sucked.

Re: Personal Question...
Since it was 6 months yesterday to our wedding day, I asked FH if he wanted to stop until wedding day. He told me I was crazy. I think a month is a good amount of time .

What if you abstain for a motnh or so, and then that night ( esp. if it is a late wedding) you are too tired & don't, umm 'consumate your marriage'.
Would you be dissapointed. if you don' t have an early flight the next day, I guess there always is the morning. . .
I ASKED MY FH THE SAME THING !!!! I said - it will be our history if we 'dont' on the wedding night LOL
He said - dont worry, we will .......
I am so glad we have these boards to talk abt stuff like this

That thought crossed my mind too..I have heard a lot of couples end up passing out...our wedding ends at 1am and we are having an after party..Im afraid on the wedding night I wont even know who he is by the time we get to the hotel
That's my fear too.. I mean we will be out all day, and the party ends at 12, and by the time we get to the hotel.. we are gonna pass out.. but we have talked about it.. giving it up for a month before..

Re: Personal Question...
2 weeks to go and we still haven't stopped. I don't see the need. Everytime is just as special as the first time for me. If it weren't, I would be worried. That's why he is the one I am marrying, isn't it? Or one of the reasons, at least. LOL.
