Lately, FH doesn't seem that interested in getting intimate, sex, whatever you want to call it. It has been like once a week. But lately, it's not me who's preventing it, it's like he's not as interested in it. In the beginning to even last year, he used to want it ALL THE TIME. Do you think there's something wrong when you go from doing it often to rarely? It's kind of been upsetting me because I feel like there's something wrong with me.

I think people go through spurts...But it is not you. Maybe try spicing things up.

Re: Personal Question...
Not really. He's definitely not depressed. I don't see why he'd be stressed. He spends all his time playing his new Playstation game lately.

It could be the novelty of something new...but ask him....I dealt with this with my man and it was because he was thinking about situations at work and trying not to 'dump' his problems on me.

Re: Personal Question...
Last week, I attempted to initiate once, and he said he was too tired. So ever since then, I don't want to ask for it because I hate to be rejected. I know it's hypocritical because I have rejected him plenty of times when he feels like it, but I don't know, it seems like a guy is always in the mood.
Maybe I will talk to him about it and say things are getting really boring, and I hate it.

If you want a guy's perspective, I'll give you one. if not, I'll keep my mouth closed

No tell me your opinion. I'm not going to get mad at whatever you say.

Re: Personal Question...
There are lots of things that could be causing it. Stress is a big one. Eating habits are another one. Not sleeping enough is a third reason....Have you tried discussing it with him?

Re: Personal Question...
Well, he always seems tired. He has manual labor job. But still, he had the same job for our whole relationship, and it was fine then.

Here's my take and I know boosh will read this, so no funny stuff from you
I can relate to this. Over the past few months, I was having lots of trouble at work and was really stressed out. Therefore, it effected my 'performance'. To this day, it's a little tough because we both work and up at 6. I get home at 8 p.m. and by the time we eat, we're both ready for sleep. So, really the weekends are the only time we have to be intimate.
So, I'd see what's going on in his life. it may be stress. I would NOT say, 'things are boring and I hate it' That's almost like a threat or an ultimatum. That never works. i'd see what's going on in his life and just be supportive, he will come around.

Re: Personal Question...
I'm going to agree with Don.....there may be things bothering him that you may not be aware of because he's not telling you....
we're the same way...DH is a manager and some nights doesn't come till 9:45 or 10....we eat and then we're practically asleep.....
give him support, talk to him...don't threaten or make him feel that his behavior is wrong, because it's not. You are just taken by surprise by the 'drop' in frequency is all

Let's put it this way, TV will have you believe that you can do it 24/7. Trust me, that's not how it works

Re: Personal Question...
Thanks, I guess I will just be honest and say I'm upset because I don't know why he's not interested anymore, and ask him if he's stressed out about something. I know he switched partners a few months ago, so maybe he hates that. I mean he likes his new partner okay, but him and his old one were really close.

Re: Personal Question...
Weren't you recently having issues with him hanging out at bars after work and lying about it? I'm thinking there had got to be an underlying cause for his behavior - TALK TO HIM!

Re: Personal Question...
Yeah, he stopped doing that, he doesn't go as much anymore. I don't know how long that'll last since I think the guys he hangs out around are bad influences, and find nothing wrong with going all the time. But then a lot of them aren't married or even in a relationship.
Lately, he has his friend come over after work and they play Playstation.
