maybe he's feeling down in the dumps because he's not hanging out with his friends....DH actually admitted to me that he was 'afraid' of losing touch with his friends now that we are married.....

Maybe. He still sees a lot of them at work everyday. I don't know, I'll have to talk to him tonight.

Re: Personal Question...
I think guys show stress differently, or not at all. Maybe he has alot on his mind, but is keeping it inside. Having the friend over and playing playstation all the time could be his stress release. I think it's nromal for the frequency to change over the course of a relationship. We aren't nearly as 'active' as we were when we first met, and we go through periods when it's more or less than usual.
Bottom line, I think, like everyone else said, just talk to him. Tell him you noticed a change, and ask if everything is okay. Let him know you miss it!
Good luck!

Re: Personal Question...
Maybe with the wedding and all, he is stressed. I know DH and I right b4 the wedding were not in the mood. We are only married 5 days, and he has made a complete turn around. ( We just got back from our mini moon and wil be taking our official honeymmon in July!)

Re: Personal Question...
Violet, just know that you are NOT alone.. These things definitely go in spurts, and lately our 'spurts' have been of the 'not in the mood' variety also .. we are both seriously stressed out with wedding planning and our jobs, so I chalk it up to that. I know we want each other just as much , but real life gets in the way sometimes!
Don't get me wrong .. I used to take it personally, esp. when we first started living together .. until FH sat me down and told me that he desired and wanted me just as much as before, but his body was just too weary from the job, stress, and the extra time he added onto his commute when he moved in with me.
Don't worry, you'll be back into your normal 'routine' before long ...

For the third time ever, I agree with Felicia 100% Seriously, she's totally right.
Don't worry about anything.

Re: Personal Question...
You are not alone. FH and I have been having this 'issue' also. It's difficult for us because we both work opposite schedules and when we are together we are both worn out. We decided that we needed to set aside one day a week for a date night. We take turns planning the dates and it has really helped us get back in um,'touch' with each other. I think that sometimes even though you are close you lose intimacy because of the world around you. I found that since we started date night we are not only intimate, but we are doing something other then sitting in front of the TV. We are enoying each other more in every way.

Sorry I missed the responses. Thanks for the positive responses! Yeah, I think we need a date night. Sitting in front of TV doesn't count!

Re: Personal Question...
everyone goes through dry spells.....some lasting longer than others. it's all good. who feels like exercising every day or once a week for that matter? You'll get back into the swing of things. No worries.

Re: Personal Question...
I agree I have noticed that my FH has spurts where he wants it all the time, then there are other times when he doesnt want it for a while. I feel the same way as you, I HATE being rejected, especially by my FH when it comes to sex...I have done the same thing not even tried things because I was rejected at one pint...but then he only thinks I don't want it if for a while I do not initaite anything...So def. talk to him..they helped us out a lot. We know where we each are now
