you can pay for a year up front and get a discount or you pay monthly.
i pay monthly its $9.95
fh didnt want a long web address so we decided to pay. thats the only benefit i can think of. lol

Hi! I created our wedding website through Yola dot com which is a free website creator. I didn't like the free wedding website creators because I didn't like the styles offered. Yola's great because it's so easy to use but there are so many things you can add to it. Slideshows, form creators (I'm using for RSVP), Flickr albums, etc etc.
I then bought a domain name from GoDaddy dot com during a insane sale for like $3 for one year.

Haha. There are a couple out there that will let you PW protect. I know Knot does.
Yola dot com also lets you PW protect your site. Which I have. Hehe. I'm crazy when it comes to internet...
