I'm having a hard time figuring out how many bags of m&m's to order. Did anyone order bags from the web site and then fill favor boxes/bags on your own? That's what I want to do for the OOT bags and I would need 75- 80 favors for the bags. Can anyone help? I wanted to just put a small amount into small cone bags, as a cute touch, but it's hard to tell how big the bags are and I'm so bad at estimating! Thanks!

I doing the same thing, go onto the M&Ms website go into where it says bussiness and get the bulk box it's enough for 80 bags. You can have them Personalized. I called the 1800# and they told me what to do. I hope this helps.

I love the orange and red idea for a fall theme!
We chose two messages for our engagement party favors. our names and 'We're Engaged!' So you could put the date of the wedding or 'Just Married!'
For 75-80 people as favors at our E-party, we ordered 4 or 5 bags.

We're doing the light blue and the silver and putting 'Ariel & Adam' on one side and 'May 27, 2007' on the other. Not too creative, but cute! We just ordered ours and received the package less than a week after we ordered it.
to determine how many we needed, I bought a regular bag of M & Ms, placed them into the heart tins that I already bought - and then multiplied the ounce ratio to see how many ounces I would need for all the tins I had.
Then, I used that ounce amount to figure out how many bags to buy.
