Re: personalized totes?
I did - I ordered them from L.L.Bean's website. I used these: custom totes because I could customize them in whatever color combinations I wanted. They're most expensive though - with the monogramming it was about $35 a tote. However, their regular totes here are only $17 plus the monogramming, but your color options are more limited. I only have 3 girls to buy for, so I didn't mind spending the extra.
I also looked at Lands End's website, and I think theirs are a bit cheaper, but I liked the LL Bean color options better, and I KNOW that LL Bean bags are build like tanks and will survive a hell of a lot of beating, so I went for those.

you might be able to bring it to a store and have it personalized. Might be cheaper?
comes in different colors I have no idea why they choose this one as the display.

Re: personalized totes?
one of my LL Bean totes just came in today (the other two are on their way), and it looks awesome! Also, these are some SERIOUS high quality totes - heavy duty construction! this thing will last forever!
I'm actually loving it so much that I'm considering getting one for myself as well...
