i wish I could have gotten it, but my kitties have a condition that is not insurable. Google it and get an idea how much it costs. Some plans are very reasonable if your pets are in good health and young
I just saw a special on it on the news. The cost for my two cats were $28 per cat, per month. In the special they say that over the lifetime of the pet, you would pay more in insurance then you would if something came up and you had to pay cash. Just something to think about. Also if you decide to get in make sure its the insurance your vet will take, not all vets will take all insurance.
I use VPI and they are pretty good I pay about 40 per month for maximum coverage for my dog.
I have VPI for my dog. it payed for itsself last year with her getting fixed and her shots. It depends If you take the cat to the vet often then it is worth it. Alo god forbid somerhing happens they are covered. The insurance does not cover genetic problems though

I have pet insurance for my dogs... I decided to get it after one of my puppies had to have surgery in December and it cost me over $3600. I wish I had gotten it sooner.
we have it and use VPI.
I HAVE VIP.. YOU DO GET A MULTI DISCOUNT IF YOU HAVE MORE THAT 1 PET. JUST KEEP IN MIND THAT THEY PAY UP TO 90 %.. I GOT INSURANCE ON MY DOG FROM WHEN SHE WAS 2 MONTHS OLD.. I WOULD'VE PAID MORE IF I DIDN'T HAVE THE INSURANCE.. IT'S SOMETHING GOOD TO HAVE.. I PAY $33 A MONTH..
