Re: Pet matting question

That happens to my brothers cat. She is a long haired cat and she get really bad knots. He brushes her every day, but she still gets them. He takes her once a year to a groomer and they shave her, she looks so adorable, like a little lion, and that usually lasts til the following summer when he has to do it again!!

Re: Pet matting question

I went thru this with my 2 cats...... So I asked the vet what to do at there check ups... he said that when they are overweight... like my 2 furry felines, they sometimes do not clean well and they are too lazy, he took out a special brush that took the mats out farily quickly. I went to the pet store and found it in the dog brushes... it looks like a square at the end with tiny soft bristles. My cats love it when I brush them with it. I hope this helps.
