I hate when you eat dinner with someone and they keep commenting that you don't like something. Ex: If I hate a certain type of food. They will say ' I can't believe you don't like this' or 'you don't like this right?' What is the big deal?

LOL !! I had a semi-friend in HS who sat at our lunch table. This girl would skeeve me to the point I couldn't look at her during lunch. She would chew with her mouth WIDE OPEN for everyone to see!
If someone says to me why don't you like this i say BECAUSE I JUST DON't OK!

Re: Pet peeve
I hate when people use there hads to push the food on their fork!! Hello were we born in a cave. That is what utensils are there for. My friend does this and it grosses me out. She also holds the fork like a shovel. My father would not tolerate that at all.

Re: Pet peeve
this is kind of funny because I always felt guilty but my mom has the WORST table manners. My dad hates it but they have been married 29 years! Sits cross legged at the table, chews with her mouth open.... i don't know where we got her from!

Re: Pet peeve
My dad, when he eats an apple makes aloud slurping sound when he bites into it! Then he has the skin stuck in his teeth he makes a sound like he is trying to su*k it out from between his teeth. That makes me crazy!

Re: Pet peeve
Speaking of poor table manners, when I first met FH, he would hold his fork in a fist like he was 2 years old and just learning to feed himself. The SECOND we were comfortable with eachother, I kindly corrected this problem! Every now and then I catch him doing it, but it's very rare these days. Who says you can't change a man?

Re: Pet peeve
Not much grosses me out more than someone who blows their nose at the table. I can't really stomach nose-blowing period - regardless of where the person is - but at the table...absolutely disgusting.

Re: Pet peeve
Sue: Oh I didn't mean anything by it, there's nothing wrong with it, just my dad always got mad because she would have 1 leg on the chair and one down, or cross legged, my dad is particular about it and would get mad. It's not bad at a casual setting but she would do it ALL the time. Not in restaurants though.
My FH blows his nose at the table and we have arguments about it. I don't understand, I know his Mom and know she taught him manners. Where did they go???

Re: Pet peeve
Ok, non-table manner pet peeve for me: Mass emails from people you don't even talk to anymore. I just got this email that was addressed to about 35 other people from this guy I have not talked to in a few years and it was inviting me to his birthday party. Just take me off the list!

Re: Pet peeve
I hate when people send you tons of emails that have been forwarded a million times. I usually delete them without even reading them.
