It's a little bit of a faux pa, but I don't really mind. Some threads, like 'The official 2010 (insert RH) thread' are usually quite old.
But in general, most people who revive old threads may not realize just how old it is and how long ago the first post was made. But it usually makes for a good read anyway so I don't really mind.

Well for me, I can't get on here as much as I would like due to my hectic days at work (as you can see my # of posts). I work in HR and I really need to watch and cant respond to all posts, as I shouldn't be online.
Anyways, for me sometimes I miss a lot and when I have the opportunity I may find a post for the 1st time that I would like to respond, and it may be old - usually not too old. I am sure for many, you have seen the post already, but for someone like myself it’s the 1st I am reading it. So, I can see how that may happen. Regardless how old the post, its still very helpful information & advice that may be needed. I guess it really depends the type of post.
