It annoys me when people talk about firing and demoting the people in the bridal party like they are hired help. I just feel as if a wedding is supposed to be celebration with friends and family and if you want to act like a puppet master then hire actors to be in your BP. Or if you want a wedding planner, then hire a wedding planner!!! Also it bothers me when people try to control everything. I know we are spending a lot of $$$ and it's understandable to get what you paid for but you can't control everything!! Sorry read a few posts on the BHB board that got me upset and had to vent!

Oh the joys of wedding planning!!!! What does everyone think about having a Maid AND MAtron of Honor? Is it good because there are 2 people to share whatever tasks there are as the important people/? or is it bad because they will both try to be in charge? Being a girl is so annoying, we are so catty?!?!?!
I think that's a good idea!! I guess you'd have to talk to both of them about sharing the responsibility. I don't think it should be a problem.

I just give them a email or phone call once in a while my two bridesmaids.. my best man (man of honor) he just knows to show up in a tux that day and look pretty and i respect he wants nothing more to do with it. The bridesmaids though i told them all i want them to do is respect me and just go to the fittings and the trying on the dress and picking it out. Then just show up on time for the pics and if they want come to the bach party.
I find women are too caddy about silly crap. Most women can't handle having their special idea or concept tossed aside for a majority of the groups descision. I have learned this with other bp that i have been a part of. I just sat back and let them bicker and then forked over some money and tend to the bride on the wedding day.
You shouldn't pick people and expect them to kiss your butts 100% of the time. In the same rate the person shouldn't accept the title of bm or mh,etc if they are not going to do the simplist of tasks.
