Pet Peeves

Currently it's the people who STILL haven't removed their CHRISTMAS lights, that are now dangling & wind blown, from their roof.

What are yours?

I have a white trash neighbor who has a van with flames across it parked in his driveway with actual garbage blowing out of it and 4 flat tires!

people who chew with their mouths open

people who drive with their turn signals on

people who know that they have cotton mouth, have a drink sitting in front of them, and refuse to sip that drink.

people who chew their nails

people who burp & fart out loud because they think that it's funny

Loud sneezers.

People who blow their nose at the dinner table.

Slow walkers.

People who decide to :

A) ....try all the different rings on their cell phones.. while on the LIRR.. at full volume .. over and over and over.. PICK A DAM*N TONE AND BE DONE WITH IT!

B) ....talk really loud on their cell phones on the train about who did what and why and 'oh we're at Jamaica... oh we're at Hollis.. oh we're at..' DUDE let them look up the route I dont need a Play by Play, thanks!

C) ....decide its been two years.. lets talk about all the cool things we heard about 9/11 from a friends friend who knew a girls' sister whose ex boyfriend from high school died. I was there.. I dont need a idiot like you messing up the facts and trying to sound cool. It isnt working

D) ....talk loudly on their cell phones (yes again) in resturants.. well if you'd shut your hole and eat you could talk outside.

The LIRR's freezing trains too!! If you're so hard up for money why do I have to bring a jacket to work when it's in the 90's outside?? turn down the dam*ned AC!!!

People who dont bother to read an email all the way through and already whine they don't have time to complete my requests.. I gave you a month to do the work.. shut up and earn your living.. Don't question me.. pfft

People who go to beautiful parks and such with gorgeous nature views.. then toss their trash into the prestine landscaping.. two feet before there was a trash can!!

Drivers who honk when the light turns green!

People pushing and shoving in the morning.. what's the rush? It's work we're going to people.

people who push and shove on the trains

people who take up 2 seats on the trains. one for them one for their 101 bags

people who push you on the street then yell at you that its your fault

store owners who look at you bring something in to get fixed, you barely take it out of the bag and they yell at you that they cant fix it and then yell at you to leave their store

jcpenny's sales people

people who double park on a very narrow block and then get mad at you when you beep for them to move

people who drive fast enough for them to beat the light but slow enough that you get stuck

AOL shutting down

job interviews where they seem like they go great then you neve hear from that company again

head hunters who swear they have something for you, call you in, take your resume and never call you agian

i am sure their is more....

1. people who talk so load on there cell phone in a restuarunt you can hear them in the next ime zone

2. going into a store and the person in back of you children pushing and shoving you while the parents just let them run wild.

3. when people take 20 minutes to do an ATM transaction through the drive through....what are they doing?

4. people who drive so far up your butt, if you stop short there trunk will be in the back seat.

5. when people hang up after your answering machine answers and they don't leave a message, or they only let the phone ring 2 times before letting you answer it.

6. men/women who talk while hey are burping

7. when the opposite sex take the last drop of milk, cheese, fruit etc. and does not tell you and you just got back from shopping

8. taking out a new roll of tiolet paper, placing it ontop of the empty roll, but not putting it on and thowing the old one out

9. impolite people (need I say more)

10. people who take the one bad comment you said about something (after you made a million nice comments) and tell you all you have to say are nasty things ( i think major therapy is needed for them)

wheee! I think that's it.

I have so many- but I also hate people that drive with their turn signal on.

I hate people that drive like morons and when you finally get past them they are on the phone.

Phone solicitors.

junk email/regular mail.

pop up ads.

people who smell or have bad breath.

People how don't use turn signals at all...

'Friends' quoting wedding etiquette to me about things they think I'm doing wrong

People Who dont have their children in car seats/or seat bealts. People in this world cant have kids...


Now that I am A cashier at pathmark as my night job People Really annoy me

Hand me the change dont throw it on my counter I cant throw it back at u.

people who ask for paper bags after I have bagged half their order ask me in the begining.

PEOPLE WHO ARE RUDE

Let me think about this (can u tell i just got home from work)

ooh oooh i forgot my biggest pet peeve.

Cops who speed by you dangerously with their lights so they can pass a red light nearly killing us all, only to turn off the lights and drive on peacefully.

Cops who basically drive worse than ANYONE on the road and get away with it.

Cops who get p*ssy at traffic and drive on the shoulder to exit the freeway.. what the hell?

Cops who give you this 'what the hell do YOU want' look when you walk up to ask a question.

Cops who actually whistle and taunt at me while Im slipping and slidding on ice instead of getting off their fat donut A$$ES and help me cross the road.. GOD that ticked me off. 'Hey baby'?!?!? Morons.

---The X-Mas light DRIVE ME NUTS!!!! (I'd rather their hoiuse not be decorated then to then leave them up all year long)

---People who can't say thank you when you hold the door, or don't hold the door for you.

---People who let their dogs jump on you or sit near the table when eatting.

dh takes all the food in the fridge and puts in on the top shelf (I guess as not to miss anything) I hate that!!!

RUBBERNECKING - WHY MUST WE ALL STOP AND SLOWLY PASS BY THE CAR THAT HAS A FLAT THAT IS BEING FIXED OR A LADY CHANGING HER DIAPER!!!! IS IT THATTTTTTTTTT INTERESTING!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! UGH MOVE ON NO NEED TO CAUSE A 1 HOUR TRAFFIC JAM TO WATCH A TIRE COME OFF A TRUCK UGHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH

Driving to and from Jersey and seeing this every friggen weekend at some point TICKS ME OFF!!!!! UGH MOVE ON WITH YOUR LIVES YOU NOSEY PEOPLE!

people that swing their arms wildly while they walk

people that carry an umbrella horizontally

people that interupt you when you are talking

ooooooooh yeah.. that umbrella one always gets me..

I have a bad knee (surgery) and man.. I hate that.. I shove back at people's umbrellas all the time. I get evil stares..

Hold your umbrella in FRONT of you when you walk up stairs.. dont you realize that thing is poking out beside and behind you as you climb up???

If you're not using your umbrella stop swinging it around like a weapon.

Another pet peeve, please look where youre walking.... didnt your mother teach you this.... walking with your head facing behind you doesn't mean I should move for you..

Talking on your cell phone doesn't give you the right of way either. If you can't talk and walk with decent courtsey, shut up or move aside stop and finish your conversation. Please do NOT walk out in front of my car while youre fixing your love life on the phone.. I WILL RUN YOU OVER! trust me.

Not a pet peeve but something I notice.. no one ever says 'excuse' me anymore. Just shove their way through.. rude

these are GREAT! i must say - i agree with almost all of them!

hope this one wasn't mentioned already but how about when the person behind you on line feels they'll get to the register quicker by standing right on top of you? oh that annoys me!
at work, when people stand over you and try to read your e-mail
stupid people - have no time for them...
when people do their personal grooming on the train (nail clipping, hair brushing, eye brow tweezing... eeewww)
taking up two seats or rather someone trying to squeeze into a space made for the size of a child
subway poles and handles.. wont touch 'em.
loud nose blowers like my dh. it can be very annoying!

ETS: forgot to add that i agree 100% with Xelandria about the LIRR being FREEZING cold. can't stand it!
