Petal Cone Question??

OK, so I am trying to make my petal cones. I want to make them from cardstock that I have cut into 6 X 6 squares. I would like to print our names and date in one of the corners. Using Microsoft Word, how do I make it so that my words come out towards the point of the square, rather than right in the top center of the paper?? Can anyone help me please??

Re: Petal Cone Question??

if you use the 'word processing' in ms works. all you have to do is insert a text box. format the text box so there isn't an outline. type what you want it to say, and then move the text box to where you want it.

the only thing is, i'm not sure if you can rotate a text box in ms works so that it's on an angle.

in ms word, i used 'word art'. you have to play with it a little to get the fonts the way you want them.
