Re: Petal Cones vs Bubbles
I prefer rose petals but without the cones...I honestly don't see the point JMO. Buy a large basket and everyone take a handful. It's a lot of work for 30 sec.
Again JMO!

I did bubbles but if I could turn back time i'd use rose petals w/ petal cones b/c it was so windy they blew away and didnt picture well

My photographer told me to be carefuul with bubbles. If you spill them they could stain.

The petals don't go to far, I saw that with FBIl's wedding. I thought they were lame, IMO. I never thought about the bubbles staining but that is what we are using.

Are you using roses or different flowers? Usually, the florist uses the petals that they take off the Bo-Ks or CPs to make them look good and give those to you for free....in myexperience anyway

Are you getting married at RH or church? make sure to verify that they allow you to use petals...some don't so you may be forced to use bubbles anyway

Re: Petal Cones vs Bubbles
I am using bubbles, but that is just because my church does not want rose petals thrown . I will be doing bubbles instead. If you don't want to spend extra money on real petals try using the fake ones they look very real.

I love the petal cones..thats what I am doing. This may sound silly but the bubbles get sticky after they touch your skin.

Re: Petal Cones vs Bubbles
we're using bubbles. they're cheaper and from the pictures that i've seen of other brides, photograph well. the petals are nice but we just decided against them. and as far as stains, i hope my guest will be careful enough to open them without spilling it on themselves.

Re: Petal Cones vs Bubbles
We can't throw petals or rice at my church, unless we want to clean it up, so I'm doing bubbles. I like that anyhow . . . nothing gets in your hair!

Re: Petal Cones vs Bubbles
If they allow petals at Chateau La Mer I will probably do that. You have to remember unless the petals are white they also stain.... and A LOT worse then bubbles (which is just soap). LOL!

Re: Petal Cones vs Bubbles
I'm trying to stear away from the bubbles only b/c every single wedding I went to, it was too too windy and went the complete opposite direction of the B and G! I am still thinking what I want to use...
