Petal Cones vs Bubbles

I wanted petal cones, but my church won't allow it! So we are using bubbles too! ...I never thought about the staining though, I'm definitely nervous about that now!

A side not though, my girlfriend had petal cones and we used them for one toss and they were gone. The photographer didn't get that great of a picture of it, but we couldn't do it again. They are beautiful, but you definitely need to get a lot of them.

Are you getting married at RH or church? make sure to verify that they allow you to use petals...some don't so you may be forced to use bubbles anyway

i asked my hall and they said i could use the petals. and i thought florists throw them in for free if i use roses but apparently not the few florists i have met with

I'm doing petal cones, and the 2 out of 3 florists that i met with will throw in the petals in for free, so maybe just call around and see who does and maybe meet with them? I LOVE my florist, FM me if you want details.

we're using bubbles. they're cheaper and from the pictures that i've seen of other brides, photograph well. the petals are nice but we just decided against them. and as far as stains, i hope my guest will be careful enough to open them without spilling it on themselves.

well in my case i will say bubbles...b/c the church is making us clean up afterwards if we use rice and or petals since there's a wedding right after ours.

You arent allowed to use real rice anymore bc of the birds.

hey i like bubbles too but my florist told me they can stain so we r going with real rose petals

i've heard that rose petals can stain also, especially red ones.....so basically both options stain...lovely!!
