i feel like an a$$ then. my florist is charging me the same, but im bringing them to the florist and theyre filling the cones for me and putting them in a basket that theyre supplying.
Can I make a suggestion. Is there any way that someone can fill them up for you the same day as the wedding? Either your BM or friends? Our florist suggested that the best thing to do is to have him supply 4 bags of rose petals (we got them for free) and fill the cones up that morning because what is usually done is that they fill them the night before and put the cones which are filled with petals into the refrigerator and that the condensation can sometimes ruin the paper. Just a suggestion.
Also if you do go with the silk petals check with your church. They may not allow it due to the fact that it is difficult to clean them up afterwards. Real rose petals disintegrate.
