yes it is, I am sitting here crying. I felt like I grew up with him everynight.

horrible- it still hasnt hit me yet. he looked so young for his age too - i thought he was in his 50s
what an amazing career he had

I was so sad when I woke up to this today. He was my one of my favorite news people.

He had lung cancer

Very sad. He was a longtime smoker too.

I know, its so sad.
His cancer must have been very advanced. They said he felt sick for awhile and did all kinds of tests until they found out it was lung cancer, he was only diagnosed four months ago.

His cancer must have been very advanced. They said he felt sick for awhile and did all kinds of tests until they found out it was lung cancer, he was only diagnosed four months ago.

Unfortuantly this is way too common with Lung cancer. My mom was diagnosed in July 04 and died in early November! The stat I heard this morning was that only 42% of those who are diagnosed will make it 1 year and of that only about 15% will make it 5 years! Its really sad!
