Re: Petite Brides
Some designers that carry petite sizes are DB, Priscilla of Boston, MoniqueLhuillier, Venus Bridal. Good luck!

Re: Petite Brides
I bought mine from Demetrios at Smith Haven mall Macy's. They did a hollow-to-hem measurement which basically means that they measure you from the hollow of your neck to your hemline area. My dress came in perfect lengthwise. You can buy your dress anywhere as long as they do a hollow-to-hem...meaning the designer/manufacturer makes the dress specifically to your height measurement. In that way if you have beading or details around the hemline, it will not be cut off or changed form the orginal design.

Same! My dress came in but I haven't tried it on yet. They measured me hollow-to-hem in the size heels I'm going to wear.

I ordered mine from Paradise Bridal. A lot of dresses, especially intricate lace dresses, are ordered hollow to hem, meaning they measure you from the hollow of your throat to where the hem should hit and order the proper length so that you don't need as many alterations.

I ordered from paradise also. I'm 5;3' and we were going to do a hollow to hem. However when I tried the sample on with my shoes (and i'm possibly wearing a crinoline skirt) I ended up not needing to take any length off. Most places will have dresses that can do a hollow to hem

Re: Petite Brides
I got my dress from Charisol Bridal on Northern Boulevard in Bayside. They had such great one of a kind dresses there. I found my Maggie Sottero there.

Re: Petite Brides
Kleinfelds. They have a cap on alterations so no matter how much work they do, you can not pay more.
My dress has not come in yet so who I am not speaking from experience.
