Do you worry that big poofy dresses will overwhelm you? I tried on a bunch of Maggies yesterday and I loved the Amara Royale, which is a mermaid, and my mom loved Dallas and Joelie, which were sooo big and I felt so lost underneath the material.

if you look in my album...i'm a petite bride and i was worried about a poofy dress too...but i found my kenneth cole dress ..and its just enough poofiness to make you still look like a bride check it out

I tried on one ball gown and I looked like I was a tiny little body sticking out of this HUGE skirt. I think if you're short a ball gown will overwhelm you. I'm only 5' and I decided on an A line
