What store is good for gowns in petite? Not a bridal store but a regular store.

David's Bridal have Petite?
My grandmother is DRIVING ME INSANE!!! She's very demanding and expects me to find out all these things for her... then she doesn't want me to go shopping with her. she's a major major major pain in the butt!!!!
I have to have this answer for her by 1 tomorrow... and she demanded i call all my bridesmaids to ask them where to get petite dresses too!!! Have you ever???????
Please help me before I have a heart attack!!!

Bloomingdales does have some but not a large selection. I would persoanlly try Lord and Taylor or Nordstrom

Bloomingdales in Roosevelt Field does have petites, so does Nordstrom.

my grandma was really tiny and she use to shop at J.C. Penny...well more through the catalog b/c she didn't drive but she always worse dresses...and talbots has petites too!

Ann Taylor Outlet/Ann Taylor, J Crew, Banana Republic has a pretty good selection in addition to Macy's Dept. Also, Century 21 Dept Stores has a great selection if you have time browsing through the discount racks.

I know Anne Taylor has lots of petite stuff... but I never heard of gowns there?

I would suggest Ann Taylor. They have a lot of formal, simple dresses (mainly short dresses).
ETA - the dress dept. in Macy's has a HUGE petites section.
