TOTALLY off the wall question, but DH mentioned to me this morning that he'd like to look into this as a possible way to share our pup's cuteness with the world
Seriously though - does anyone know anything about this? Even if it's just submitting his picture to a pets magazine or catalog - something like that, it'd be fun to look into as a possiblility for our pup I think! Are we wacky for thinking about this? I don't want to exploit my dog or anything, but I just think it would be cute if it worked out.... Any info/advice is greatly appreciated! Thanks so much

i dont think its weird at all.... my chihuahua used to model.... but then she got pregnant and i never started her up again.... you kinda have to know people though... otherwise you can get him in with an agency, but some are shady and cost $$ to submit his pic and stuff.... its not easy to be honest, but let us know if anything happens.

I always think about that and I joke to FH that we should send Murphy to work so he can earn his keep. But seriously, I have no idea. I was hoping Murphy could be the next Eddie on Frasier

Murphy is adorable - I could totally see him on Frasier as Eddie's long lost brother or something like that Honestly, if I could make a living off my dog (in a humane way of course!), I'm a little embarassed to say that I would totally do it! lol - my dog would probably be better at that job that I am now at mine anyway!
I guess I'd just need more info on where to start. Lolita, how did you get your doggie into it?

It kind of fell into my lap.... I was looking for it, but I actually got approached for it from a photographer.... She was getting dyed pink and a photographer asked to use her for a photo shoot and so on..... She LOVES it! I want to get her in commercials next. Alot of my friends dogs model, check out the brand new magazine NEW YORK DOG.. thats my friends little chihuahua on the cover, Vanilla!!! And inside is a pic of another dog i know, Freya. Tink may be modeling dog clothes on a site soon.... I still have to look into it. I have to ask how they got the magazine gig... I'll let you know if anything comes up.

The Yorkie and in NYDog (the Queer Eye for the Scruffy Dog) is my boss' dog and my boss! (Max is molly's 'brother' at work)!

It's so funny that you brought this up because DH and I were just talking about this the other day! We think Bama is such a beautiful dog, and whenever we take him anywhere people always stop and comment about how beautiful he is. So we thought maybe we could get him to model

Dina, i saw that yorkie!!!!! I have to ask Brittany and Ada how they did it.... my FH said Tinks not good enough to be in a mag :( (i guess cuz shes so big) Molly should DEF be in mags!!

I know the owner of the Westie on the Caeser brand dog food... through the internet but I still think its cool.
