OMG I took Kanga for a grooming at the new Petsmart in Huntington and it cost $64.00 plus tax and tip! She got shaved which you would think would be easier and cheaper than cutting no?
Anyone know any other grooming places in the area or is this the going price?
DH said we're gonna get a flobe instead

I got Peanut groomed at Doggy Style in Copiague. She didn't get shaved but she did get a shampoo and cut and it was only $27!!

yea petsmart is sooo high!! any other 'non name brand' place will be much cheaper for ya

Petsmart is pretty high, but the other place that I used to take my Mickie (Wheaten Terrier mix, long hair), was about $45.00 (Selmer's on Jericho), but they were only open from like 9-2 m-f.....for the convenience of dropping her at 5:30, and picking her up an hour later, I'll pay the extra money...it works out to be cheaper actually, because before I would leave work early. One time I got really cheap and I took her to Canine Corral. OMG-what a bad idea. The hair was uneven, and she even had some razor burns, ugh, I still can't beleive I did that.
Search the phone book for a mobile groomer that way your dog never has to leave your property and I think the prices are around $45-50 depending on the size of your dog.
