My friend from NY just emailed and asked what the possibility of her getting PG from pre-ejaculatory fluid? I told her there's always a chance, but what the percentage is, I don't know. She said they had unprotected sex, he pulled out before doing his thing, but was worried about the 'pre-fluid'? Anyone has any insight on this? Thanks!

Its a very slim percentage, however, if she is worried, she may want to call her OB for the morning after pill.... Unless its too far..

It is a possiblily but very rare. dh and I used the pull out method for many years with no problems and we got preggo with the first shot of NOT pulling out.

It is possible...those sperm can swim...she can call her GYN and request a Plan B pill set. If she does not have insurance or a regular GYN then have her call Planned Parenthood asap. They can help her get the pills. It will prevent unwanted pregnancy if you have had unprotected sex. They are really like heavy duty birth control pills that will not allow an egg to implant in the uterus but she MUST take them within 72 hours of the unprotected sex. there is NO room for delay! She may also want to speak to her doctor about a more formal birth control choice as well as the other risks of unprotected sex.
