Phantom of the Opera

I thought it closed but DH said he heard it's back? Is this true? Does anyone know? Or is it the travelling company version? Thanks.

Phantom of the opera on Broadway has been running since 1988...it has not closed nor has it ever been rumored to close...

Re: Phantom of the Opera

I've seen it 3 times over the past 12 years.

The first time I saw it was right after Michael Crawford left. But, it was fantastic.

Then, I saw it again around 1998 and I thought it was TERRIBLE

But, DH and saw it together 3 years ago and it was FANTASTIC!

The actors and singers sure do make a difference!

It's still around and has been for years. We just took the entire office to see it a few weeks ago.

I was lucky enough to see it when Michael Crawford was still in it - it was awesome! I love that play!

Why didn't you take all of us too? j/k

I could have sworn I heard commericals about how it was closing, over a year ago.

I'm braindead.

Thanks

We also went in a limo and went to dinner!
Would have loved to take you all but there weren't enough tickets!

Actually with all the commercials for Phantom lately I wouldn't be surprized if it is winding down. I've seen it three times. Still love it!

All The Best!
