Phography & Videography Quotes

Hi Ladies,

I have a question I am paying $1,995.00 for the photo and $1,595.00 for the video. Is this a reasonable price? The studio said, they are giving me a discount.

Also, how many thousands are you guys spending on your wedding day. I will be spending including honeymoon - $25,000.00

We haven't done ANY honeymoon planning and we're already up to $33,000.

Photo: $2550 (after tax). 2 photographers, 700 proofs, e-pics, no albums

Video $1900 (after tax). we got a fairly big video package.

Sounds like a good deal to me.

Haven't booked video yet but quotes go anywhere from $1500 to $4000.

Not getting a video.
with everything we will probably wind up paying about 34,000 for the wedding & honeymoon, but FH thinks we are paying about $25,000

If my FH knows, we are paying 25,000.00 for this wedding, he would probaly faint. But, my mom is the main contributor, and if she wants to help me plan the important day of my life I wont argue!

His family will help at least 25%.

Did you check out Duet Photography. You can get a photography and video package for $3000 and the package includes a lot. Plus they do great work. If you check out the OFFICIAL DUET PHOTOGRAPHY THREAD it shows what you get in the package. These are some of my proofs if you want to get an idea of their work.

Wedding proofs

I think you can do your wedding for $25000 including honeymoon. I did mine for about $24000 and that is including every single thing including the little things like shoes and bridal gifts, etc. There are certain things you have to sacrifice like a Saturday night wedding and probably a band. I got a good deal on everything. Also for flower check out Jack and Rose. They do beautiful flowers and are pretty inexpensive. I used Burtons and also got a great deal but Jack and Rose might give you a better one.

Kelly, I'm with u. My FH thinks the wedding is costing about 35,000 with the honeymoon but its more like 50,000. Thank God for overtime! Oh and we are paying 5000 for photos and 2300 for our video.
