only if the account becomes delinquent, meaning you haven't paid it in a month. If your 5 days late, no that wont go against your credit.

i've used to be late way way way back (4-5 yrs ago) and it never showed on credit

not sure about now but either way...just in case..pay it on time

It's 30 days that warrants delinquency.

it only goes on your credit if it goes to collection agency

this is true... I used to be late all the time before i bought my condo and i was nervous when they did a credit check that they would see this..But there was nothing. It also takes more than 30 dyas to be delinquent and have to go to a collection agency..I used to be 3 months behind
Nothing went on my credit..
