Has anybody hired a photographer that will just charge for the day and a photo cd without albums. I want to cut down expenses before the wedding and only want to pay for their time and maybe a copy of the photos and worry about the albums later. Can you recommend a photographer that will not require a full package up front ?

Re: Photo- advice
Thomas Paul Photography gave us a really great price for proofs, and cd with no albums. I have a list of them...most of them will work with you! I will post the list when I find it!

Duet has packages but they'll work with you to include things or exclude things and lower the price.

Re: Photo- advice
Dan Wagner Photography (He is a vendor on here).
He has a package where you can get online proofs, dvd or cd with proofs and printed 4x6 proofs.
FM me if you want or you can contact him in the vendors section!
Good luck!

Christopher Socci of CGS Photography. He was referred to me by Pastor APril, so I know he'll be fabulous. You can check out his website: http://www.cgsphotography.com/

Re: Photo- advice
We did this... when we went photographer shopping we just asked about proof only packages. You do want to make sure that the images they give you on disk are high resoultion and ask what the proofs will look like... (some photo studios but their name on your proofs)
I ened up making my own album using mypublisher... there are picts in my review and community album...
Silver Fox in Massapequa. I booked just the two photographers for the day, and after the wedding I will get a Photo CD (with the actual files) and print outs of my proofs (and they don't say 'proof' across them) any thing I want to order after I can at the same prices that are listed now.

Twelfth Night! We loved them. Pics in album. We will be doing our album over the next couple of months with them.

We're working with Jon from TimeXposures and he's doing this...reasonable prices and very nice to work with. I liked his portfolios too.

Believe it or not, Golden Moments (Dan Saviano) does this as well. They are also vendors on here and their work is amazing
