Photo Albums

Has anyone used iPhoto books to make wedding albums? We've heard good things about them, but are a little hesitant since we haven't had luck with other online sites, like Shutterfly in the past. We're doing our own albums and trying to keep costs down. A friend of ours recommended the iPhoto books, but we just don't know much about them.
