Does anyone have any photographer recommendations or DJ recommendations? I am going to start looking soon and I wanna make appointments for a few different places. I always thought I would want a DJ, but I guess it can't hurt to look at bands. Any good band recommendations?

Re: Photo and DJ Recommendations
Photographer: Duet Definately check them out. Their work is amazing!!! http://www.duetwedding.com/
DJ: After Hours - Phil is great to work with and they are reasonably priced too. They also have a After Hours band, I dont really know too much about the band though.
Tommy's Tunes is also a great DJ, they are a little more expensive but they are really great.
Good Luck.

Re: Photo and DJ Recommendations
I liked Variety Music ... they were really nice and made me feel very comfortable ... i also felt like they were going to go above and beyond to make my day perfect which is always good
for photographer, i'm using a lesser known person which is what i wanted ... the 'popular' people are way too expensive for my tastes. smaller companies can do just as good a job (if not better). Oh, i'm using As You Wish Photography ... they were great and affordable

Re: Photo and DJ Recommendations
For photography I hands down recommend Imagine Studios. I think they give you the best quality for the price...their work is amazing...and Lia (the photog) is so sweet. It's worth meeting with her.
DJ's -- I didnt look into any, but my sister used Body Rock and they were great. I've also heard great things about Long Island Sound.

Photo: Patken and Duet
DJ: After Hours, In the Mix, LI Sound
Side note: After Hours has a band, I'm not a huge fan of them but again, I wasn't interested in a band.
