It depends on what kind of package you want, but I'd budget at least $3.5-4K for it.

It can drastically vary depending on who you hire. We are spending around 5k just for photo (no albums included) but photography was our top priority and we wanted someone amazing. I think the average for photo may be around 3k.

I should have added that though we are paying almost 4k, the photographer is a family friend so his rates were discounted.

We're paying an insane amount of 9,500 for both. Both of our vendors are a necessary part of our day, so it was totally worth it!

I wish I could Multi-reply like some post sites. Anyyways, can I please get package info from all you lovely ladies that are spending over 5500.

We saw 2 places that are charging about 7500, but we needed like 12 hours, photos, videos, books... The whole shabang. My primary concern was artistic talent. This is probably my one splurge category, but still trying to get the best deal.

But in ref to the original question, I've generally heard 3500-5000ish. Now, if you need 2 photographers or Videographers, 8-12,14 hours, photobooks or preshoots, etc... Then I think you may jump into the 7000 range.
