well, i think im going there (velvet) on saturday but i have an appt. with 12th night tomorrow
my friend just booked them and $$ seem reasonable but no video

I just felt as though Bob was as good as the other photographers. I just didnt get hte parent albums because they are an exact replica of the wedding album I want to personalize the albums to each parent so I am going to have to find a company that will do that for me.

my mom already told me she does NOT need a $500 album

I did it yesterday when I found out this week that Easter break in March next year is only 4 days off (including the weekend) and Zepp and I want to go to Hawaii and the reason why we had March was for the vacation.

Called RH and only had July 26 open for the spring/summer season...so I got lucky.

That's what I wanted to do but since my dad is helping financially, he wanted the photographer album so that's what he is getting.

Question about shutterfly....are the pages back to back like a book or are the pictures only on the right hand side as you are turning the page...does that make sense?

I think the most important thing is to meet with the photographer before booking. Make sure you like his/her style and are comfortable with them. You also want to be able to trust them. I want to make sure each person is going to do their jobs they were hired to do. Hire someone who will give you peace of mind that they will come through as promised!

i am thinking about diong this too...you save a lot of $$ doing parent albums on shutterfly! and they look like they come out really nice! i think my parents would feel so bad knowing we spent so much on their albums!

you know he may chnage this eventually but as of now they are a replica. I hope this doesnt hurt people thinking about using him because he does offer so much!

yeah i prob wouldnt get the parent albums anyway...it wouldnt effect my decision anyway. i met with him and really liked his work as well! he was a nice guy!
