Photo appts

Hey!

I know a bunch of you already booked your photographer- my question is, how long is the appointment (about)? I wanted to make 2 of them tomorrow, but I want to give myself enough time.

The 3 appts I went on lasted about an hour each.

Thanks Jassy!!

Just realized that Thomas Paul is one of our house vendors, so I'm def gonna check him out next week at the showcase. FH is being such a groomzilla about this!

my appts lasted about an hour on average.. some were up to an hour and a half if i was having fun

Thanks. I'm so on the fence about photographers!

As you all know, FH's first choice is Millimeter

I looked at Thomas Paul, Turn Loose the Art (prob too expensive for us), and P*atken. I looked at some others, but they weren't really my style.

The problem is, I have found negative reviews about some of them that make me nervous, and others the pics look way too sexual for me (if that makes sense).

This is turning out to be more of a headache than anticipated!

I thought Millimeter had great photos but I wasn't a fan of their packages and thought they were just a bit on the pricey side for what they were offering so I never made an appt with them.

I can so relate. Even though I only went on 3 appts.. I looked at tons of sites and got a bunch of price lists. Then it came down to making a decision and it literally made my head hurt! lol

Just continue to get a bunch of price lists (I sent out a bunch of emails instead of calling) and then reviewed everything and decided from there who to make an appt with.

It really is a tough decision but you'll know when its right. Good luck!

I feel the same way about Millimeter!! Although I really like the pics, I just feel like it's a bit expensive. I take back anytime I ever said that planning a wedding was fun

When I meet with Lighthouse we were there for 2 hours the first time and an hour the second. Although FH knows them so I am sure normally it would be shorter.

By the time you introduce yourselves and mention the basics.. wedding date, how many ppl, bridal party size, blah blah. Then they will show you their work, the video (if they do both and your looking for both), packages they offer, you ask your questions, tell them what your looking for it will def be about an hour. Esp if you click with them and they are really nice.

I have looked at p*taken and omg I can't remember the other one it's in westbury.... Yikes! Proline? Does that seem right. Sorrytotallybdrawing a blank, or maybe it started w an f? Anyway One was shorter then the other but I left seriously in a pickle I had to back away from photo for a while.

I have heard good things about Thomas Paul so i will prob check him out and then make a choice. For those who have seen prices what so the average u have seen for a 2 man shoot and w simple video? Good luck!!
