Does anyone use photo booth during your wedding? If so, can you tell me what's the pricing and vendors? I think it's a cute idea.

Re: Photo Booth
I have never seen one at a wedding, but my cousin did have one at her sweet 16. It was very cute and fun.

Re: Photo Booth
i was thinking of doing this and having little photo albums as their favors but do you think it takes away from the wedding? that people will be up on line waiting to take their pictures instead of partying?

Re: Photo Booth
Me and FH are doing this.....they quoted us $1700 which includes a fee of $300 because they are located in the city (doesn't seem like there are any out on the island) and they have to commute. The quote was for up to 5 hours of use.
I honestly don't think that it will take away from the wedding, both of our families will love it....they have already started talking about it!! I think that we'll get some great pics....especially after everyone starts to drink
and people wont be waiting on line for their pics it takes only 10 seconds to develop.
FH and I loved the pics we took at the bridal expo!!

Re: Photo Booth
I got a cheaper price quote ~5 months ago. I don't know if they raised rates since then. They quoted me $1200.
Originally I really wanted to get a photo booth but was afraid it would take away from the reception.

Bridex 100- Where did you get the quote? Yeap, I have the same concern though. Are you going to use it?

I got the quote from nycphotobooth.
like i said, it was quite a while ago (5-6 months).
i am probably going to skip it. mostly because i am having a small wedding (~120-150 people) and if my friends are out in the area where the photo booth is and not dancing, our reception room will look empty!
if you have a bigger wedding and can splurge a little, i say go for it.

Our wedding is at Glen Island Harbour Club. The photo booth would have probably been placed in the cocktail hour room, which is right outside the reception room.
I just felt like the same people who would be dancing are the same people who would utilize the photo booth the most as well. Since our wedding is small, I need those people on the dance floor to get the party going.

Re: Photo Booth
Please note that I am not trying to discourage you from getting one at all!
I LOVE the idea of having a photo booth. I just have super conservative parents. Their friends are also conservative and not the partying dancing types.

Yes, I understand what you mean. Thanks for your input. I am still searching for the venue now. I love De Seversky but the services from Management are very bad. They never return my call, even before I sign the contract. That's why I am still looking. Do you have any good suggestions?
