photo booth

photo booth

is anyone thinking of getting a photo booth for their wedding?

if so -- any idea if the attendant that comes w/ the booth is considered a 'vendor' to the RH -- meaning we are responsible for paying for their food costs?

I was thinking about creating my own with some vintage items for guests to take pics with. I have to see if its in the budget though, first things first.

we are personally not planning on doing one but it is a very fun idea for a wedding. FBIL/FSIL will be having one at their wedding this May... I anticipate some funny pictures coming out of that booth LOL

any idea if their RH is charging them a 'vendor fee' -- meaning you are responsible for his meal cost, as if he was another guest at the wedding?

and yes you have to pay for their meal/vendor fee.

We're having a photo booth and honestly I didn't even think about feeding the attendant!!
Not to sound cheap, but he can't just eat at cocktail hour before he sets up?? lolol...well actually I'm kind of serious...can't he??

that's EXACTLY what i was thinking. he does nothing besides stand there to watch the booth and now i need to pay for his meal!? COME ON!!!

i may opt out of having an attendant just to save some $... i mean... who doesn't know how to operate a photo booth!?!?

I've never heard of it as a 'vendor fee' but yes, we have to pay for the meals of ALL vendors that aren't preferred JT vendors. I *believe* they are all half price, though. So far we only have 3- the 2 photogs and the photobooth attendant. Our DJ is the house DJ at JT so they eat free.

ETA: I *strongly* recommend having an attendant there. What if something goes wrong and the photobooth breaks down and you have to wait for someone to arrive to fix it. It's honestly not that much money, $50 for their meal?

yea, i can see the pros and cons of having an attendant.. but their meal cost is well over $50.... blah.

Some of the places I was looking into come with an attendant.

Has anyone found some good companies to use or know people who have had them before?

How much does it usually cost?

How far in advance did you all book your photobooth?
