Did anyone DIY? I have no motivation to even ATTEMPT this project w/out proper advice.

We didn't glue the frames together. We used metal brackets. See pic below:
omg that is awesome! I like that you painted the frames.. i started doing mine tonight and didnt'even think of that.. also like that there are only 2 pictues in each fram.. i bought the collage ones and its difficult to fill 4 frames. i'm stuck cutting and cropping pics!
Is this photo cube for envelopes? What is the exact purpose?

You got it... It's an alternative to the money purse that the bride carries around or the birdcage that some used. Others use hat boxes and cover them with fabric, add bows, flowers, etc. and make wedding cakes to hold the cards. We made something totally different all on it's own, but fit our theme. Some just rent mailboxes...there's so many options.
ETA: I see on this DIY section enjft posted an official 'cardbox' thread. Check back occassionally for ideas.

I bought frames, but I want to change the mats in each frame. Any ideas where I can find these? I already tried Joann's and AC Morre and they had none.

I went to Michael's and got great frames for 4.99 very cheap because they were on sale but they are wood and look nice. See pic!
OK, so now I HAVE to make one of these!!!!! I love this idea! I am a picture fanatic! Now, how am I supposed to pick which ones to display on my photo cube???
