Photo Guestbook-How are you going to/did you arrange it?

For those of you that have had or will have a photo guestbook with Polaroid...How are going to arrange the book and camera for your guests? I really love the idea of having one but I guess I am confused about the best way to orchestrate it. Did/will you have the guests take their own pictures and then place the pictures in the book and sign, arrange for your bridal party to take the pics, have someone at the hall, etc? I think the book would be such a special way to remember the day but I am afraid of also making the process too bothersome or cumbersome.

I'm not doing it, but you could probably ask your hall to have a waitress waiting at the door to either the cocktail hour or main dining room. She can then take each picture for you.

I am planning on assigning someone the task of taking guests pictures as they come in and attaching the pics to the book. Once that is done, that person will go around and have guests sign the page that their picture is on.

I think having guests wait until their picture dries and is attached to the book in order to sign it is gonna leave a line of people trying to get into the hall.

Experience with others who have done this suggest that Irene's advice is right on - namely, you must assign someone ownership of this otherwise no pic wind up being taken. Also can have MC of band make announcement but someone should gently encourage people to do.
