Photo help

Does anyone know of a photographer who will give all day coverage, not just 8-10 hours? My ceremony is at 3:30 and the cocktail hour starts at 7. I need more than 10 hours of coverage and so many places charge $150 or more an hour of overtime. Any suggestions?

I am using Ferlise and he never said anything about an hourly charge. My wedding is at 4:30 and he will be with me from 3:00 until the end. Who did you go to?

try my photogrpaher dominick from 12th night photo - i think he might do all days too....

VIP does I think. My church was 3:00 and Cocktail hour was at 7:00 and they stayed till after the last song. They came to my house about 12:30 or 1:00 I think.

Are you sure you'll need more than 10 hours?

Usually, the photographer leaves right after the cake is cut, so they are actually not staying for the last hour of your recepetion...

My photographer only charges $50 OT. You might have to pay more for a photographer that goes more than 10 hours.

Duet Wedding Studio comes for the whole day (from when you are getting ready until the end of the wedding - not just until the cake cutting). Their pictures are wonderful and so are their prices. Their website is www.duetwedding.com

A few of the brides on here are using them.

I think I will need about 10. If the photographer starts at 2PM at my house and goes through the end of the reception at 12, that would be 10 hours.
I looked at Stephanie Violette and Visual Concepts who both said 8 hours.

Mark Kauffman Studios. My photographers arrived at 11:30am and didn't leave until 11pm. They covered the entire day from beginning to end.

Mark doesn't have pre-set packages like many of the studios. You tell him your needs and he creates the package for you. I did FM info though.

I have the same exact times as you and my photographer (Patken) did not charge me anything extra, they will be coming to me at 1:00

Defintely check out Mark Kauffman his work is amazing we just booked him.

Michele31 - he told us 8-10 hours though when we meet with him the first time and then he gave us his price for overtime but since we won't need overtime I didn't catch that figure

Girls be careful of your contracts with overtime - we looked at some photographers who told us they would be with us all day and when we got home and looked at the contract with the quote it stated in small print somewhere (sometimes on the back) they are with you all day up to 10 hours - then there will be a charge for overtime - just be careful

I like Mark Kauffman's work. I e-mailed him and I am trying to see what he can do for all day coverage. I don't want to lose good photos to get all day coverage. Visual Concepts looked really nice, their day is 8 hrs and $150 p/h overtime.

I know what everyone means about reading the fine print. Thanks everybody

MK is great I'm sure he will either show you that you don't need overtime or will be able to work something out with him. He is GREAT to work with

YES another for VIP
my chuch was at 3pm, cockatail at 7pm

he offered to come anytime before the church, I think we decided on 130pm ( I think he suggested 1pm) but that was too early for me, with hair and makeup and getting ready)

and they stayed until the end,
no extra charge was ever discussed!
