Photo invitations

Does anyone know how we go about doing this? We are clueless. We have a picture that we want to use as the background of an invitation, with vellum paper or something over it with the wording. Any advice on where to go for something like that?

I think Shamma96 did invitations like what you are looking for. Her invites were beautiful with their picture in the background. I would do a search under her name as she posted it before or FM her.

KC, there is a vendor I know of that does them. We got ours ordered thru our photographer. Sawwry, but I will get any info I have for you and forum mail it to you when I go to work on Tuesday.

These are what our invites looked like...please disregard the bow, (test runof when they were received) that was only to take the pix. We used bows that were clear so you could see the words.

As always Shamma, you are so helpful! Thank you- your invites are great and very close to what we were picturing! Endlessluv- we loved that invitation and picked it out of a catalog- funny you should post that same one! but we now like the idea of the picture being the background more. Thanks for the help!

No prob!! Glad I could help!! I actually I LOVE the idea of the picture in the background!! I am obsessed with pictures and this would be very 'us' for our invitations! Are they expensive??

We got 100 invites with response card and all inner and outer envelopes, reception card etc

We got ours thru our photographer, but I have info at work of other places that does it, so that is the info I will share tomorrow.
