Photo Locations...

Can anyone recommend a beautiful lake or park to take photographs between Babylon and around Sayville? Preferably, one that wouldn't require you to be a resident. I don't mind paying for the site. Thanks!!!

Re: Photo Locations...

I literally just googled mapped the area between Sayville and Babylon and here is what I came up with (I am obviously not very busy at work today lol)

FYI - don't live in the area and never been to any of these places, but just giving you a list of what seems to be in that area.

- Argyle Lake - Memorial Park
- Hawley's Lake - Sampawams Creek Pond
- Sakitkos Park
- Knapps Lake - Brookward Hall Park
- Wesdt Brook Pond
- Connetquot State Park (pretty big)
- Shoreham Park (on the water)

I'm sooo upset about this! I just called Bayard and they close at 4 which is the time we would be getting there so they can't accomodate us!!!

That s u c k s! I love that place!! I know I'm not going to have time to go to a second location so my friend (who is just getting into wedding photography) is going to do day-after pics for us. (Day after, bridals, trash the dress, rock the frock, whatever you want to call it.) Would you be able to do something like that?

I won't be able to do day after pics and I know that I don't want to trash the dress...so I'm not sure what to do!!! I have a call into my photographer to ask them about locations. I hope they can help!

Well you don't necessarily have to do it the day after your wedding. And you don't necessarily have to trash the dress. I know I don't want to trash mine! I'd like to eventually use it to make a christening gown. Definitely ask your photog though, they should have ideas.
