Photo locations in Great Neck

Please help!!! Im getting married at Leonards. Is there anyplace, like parks or gardens in the vicinity (around Great Neck) that would be good to take pictures before my reception???

You could try the Duck Pond in the Village of Roslyn but there is a lot of goose poo there.

You could also try Christopher Morley Park on Shelter Rock Road and the LIE.

I would look around Manhasset and Port Washington.

Try CW Post or NYIT campuses which are a bit further east up Northern Boulevard.

Old Westbury Gardens(?)

Check to see if you need a permit for any of thse locations.

Hi, I am also getting married at Leonards. I asked the same question not to long ago. There is a park near by. Im not sure where though. So dont get nervous..there is something over there

I am trying to think. Maybe the park in manhasset near the train station? I know there isnt anything in port washington. I am sure there is somewhere in great neck.

There is a park right across from Macy's on Northern Blvd that I think a lot of weddings take pics at, although I think my sister told me it's also full of duck poop. There is a little gazebo on Plandome Rd in Manhasset by the train station that might be cute for pictures. I was thinking about trying to go somewhere in Port Washington to get pictures with the water in the background, but I don't have a specific place in mind yet. Doesn't Leonards have some gardens you can take pictures in?

I was just going to suggest Roslyn...not sure how active the geese poop is this time of year..it is usually visable..however, there are some really nice spots by the pond where you can go...Why don't you make a list of possibilities and take a ride out this week...since it is the same time of year as your wedding...

As for great neck..there is an area with a small park and gazebo..i believe it is on middle neck road. Did you try asking your catering hall for suggestions???
