Photo Locations....HELP!!!!

Ok Ladies,

I am having a REALLY hard time figuring out where to take pictures after the church. I could really use any suggestions.

Our ceremony is in Lindenhurst and the reception in Island Park (Long Beach) area.

I will probably have about 2 1/2 hrs to take shots b/f I want to be at my RH to get ready for the CH. My photog suggested Argyle Park in Babylon but FH & I don't like that location. I have no idea what options I have on the south shore that is 'park like'.

what about venetian shores park? I googled it and that came up?

anyone been there?

and during july, the beach/park will be packed with little kids running around.

Marisa, I'm taking my pics at the Nunley's Carousel in Eisenhower park. It's kind of out of the way from Lindenhurst to BYC, but it might be worth it for you, especially because I know of all the other fun things you have going on with your wedding.

You (we) could also look into the Nautical Mile in Freeport or even some places in Long Beach.

Do they charge a site fee? I love carousels, and I'm looking for a place that doesn't charge a site fee for my day after pics.

Yup. $250 for 2 hours. They have to charge because they have to close down the operation of the carousel for that time, because it's open to the public.

Jones Beach wasnt necessary ruled out its just that RH is right by the beach so we are planning on swing by Lido Beach for a bunch of pics b/f we go to the RH.
