I've been to a wedding where the bride and groom prepared a photo montage for the guests. They basically played a song while they showed baby pictures of them and pics of them as a couple on a screen. Who does this? The photographer? Is anyone doing this?

I am doing a photo montage. There are 2 vendors that can do it. Either the DJ or the Photographer. From what I've heard, the vendor who supplies the plasmas normally does it. HTH!

The DJ usually supplies the montage. I've never heard of the photographer doing it. The DJ supplies the plasma's it should be discussed when you go over the contract, how many plasmas you need. There's a charge for it.

My dj does one and so does my photographer. My photographer did an engagment montage for FH and I, but not sure I want to play 2 at the wedding. I feel like 2 throughout the night would be boring for the guests lol

i'm making my own. my dj said i could as long as it was burned onto a dvd. if you have windows vista there is a program for making movies, videos and montages. it lets you add music and pic effects and stuff

i created my own photo montage it is 10 minutes long and i hope to play it during dinner. i made it on idvd (mac computer) and burned it to a cd, and i have arranged my DJ to bring a TV screen and play it for us.

ITA.. idvd is really easy to work with and i'd give the finished dvd to whoever is supplying the plasma screen and have a tech guy make sure the dvd runs smoothly..

We picked the pictures and our DJ put it all together. It was really really cute!
Then through out the night on the screens they showed pictures from the wedding night as well.
