i am very upset that i have to pay for my high res disk and note card thank you's.
I was wondering if this was the norm.
also what kind of thank you's are included?

mine really were just dvds of the pictures set to music, the cds of the pics, and a thank you card design. other than that nothing was really included.

My thank yous are the folded cards, with the photos printed directly on to the front cover. I think they're 5' x 7' if I'm not mistaken.

My thank you's were not included but I prefer to design my own. I am getting all the pics on a dvd though.

Our package includes our album, two parent albums, bridal party pics (I think 5x7), two wall photo's (don't remember sizes), thank you's (card with photo printed on front), all proofs and cd with all pictures. We also had engagement photo's included.

Yikes -- high res images and thank yous should DEFINITELY be part of a reputable photo studio package, IMO.
We have Duet and we have a choice of thank yous printed in sepia tone on linen card stock (what we're doing -- they look awesome) OR the standard wallets in a window pane card.
ETA: Engagement pictures were also included, as well as a 20' x 30' blow up as a signature board at the reception. We're omitting the white space around the edge for signing since we have a guest book.

Hey Dana, We do not have thank you's in our package, we knew this when we signed the contract. Our package consists of 8 hours of coverage (we paid for an extra hour) online gallery, custom album design by Mariann, One wedding album, 600 high resolution image files, and a complete set of paper proofs.
Mike and I are having Mariann make an album for both our parents, that will be separate. Thank you's I knew I would figure out elsewhere. FM me if you need help with anything

Our package includes both however, I know of quite a few reputable companies that don't include this...sorry for any inconvenience! Was this not in your contract?

Our package only includes the coverage, all proofs, an online gallery, and a disk. For me, it was more important to find the right photographer than a good package. We chose someone at the top of our price range, but the pictures themselves are the most improtant to me. I figured we can make our own thank yous and albums.

the wallet sized thank you's are. the notecards are an upgrade. i feel that those are more 'standard' now and should be included. the disk, i didnt even think or know about when we booked. but i hear that, that is usually included as well.
I am just mad at myself. I wanted to invest my monney into my album. I dont think i should have to pay for the disk or thankyou's
