Can you all please tell me how much you are paying for your photo and who are you using? I am going absolutely insane with this one thing - everything else has been a craze...

Marnles: What are you getting for $2,000? I'm going to start looking for photgraphers in November and that price sounds really good. My FH is having nightmares about having to spend $8,000 for photos and video. If you don't want to post it, you can e-mail me at [email protected]

$1699 with the Wedding Center. My friend is a photographer, but in the wedding so she could not take the pictures. She looked at there work and liked it. 36-8x10 album / 20 4x5 (2) albums 1-11x14, 50 photo thank you cards and 3 8x10's and all the proofs and you can buy all your negatives after a year for $99

My sister was a wedding photographer assistant and went with me to look...we are both using VIP and wanted to stay in the $2-3K

Yikes, now I am doubting my decision to go with Gray Studios.

I am paying 3800 and that is for their lowest package! It includes 50 pics in our album, 18 in the parents album, some 8x10s and 11x14s and 100 thank you's. Oh, and engagement shots. Am I getting ripped off? Hope not! I mean, I love their work and I know that they will do a good job. I cut back on other areas because I felt that photos are most important.

Melissa: Don't doubt! There are photographers who charge $10K just to come to shoot your wedding and give you the rolls of film! (no album, prints or anything) And these guys are booked years in advance!

Im spending more than you (but less than $10K :eek:) and Im not doubting.

Its all about finding a photographer whose style you love and a price you can afford. Im sure this is the case with your photographer and you will be happy you invested the money.

We are using Patken and are paying $2800. With that we get I believe a 44 or 48 picture album, 2 parents albums, all of our proofs, and a bunch of other stuff.

cooky, we are using TWC also. For the whole packege it was still cheaper than a photgragher alone. Could you let me know how they did, my wedding is in October. Thanks
