photo question

Re: photo question

I am thinking about what my contract says (it is at home), but from what I remember it was about 200. Now you girls have me worried. Did anyone else use Cassarino and if so, how many proofs did you get?

I'm using Ed Collins, who is absolutely great! For under $3000, we're getting a 60-photo album, 1 8x10, 2 or 4 5x7, I can't really remember the whole package because I'm at work and this information is at home. He and his assistant will be with me for 8 hours and am getting between 450-650 proofs. He is also incredibly nice!

Sounds a bit high. Don't remember all the specs of our package but I do remember it was (I think) under $2,000.00. We do keep all the proofs/negatives. Ours was with Cassarino Studios. I think (we didn't actually count them all) we got approx. 220 proofs depending on the photographer assigned for you. Ours got the flu and ended up in the hospital a few days before our wedding so we got the owner's son-in-law. He wasn't charismatic with people skills but a good photographer.

We have some proofs with them now as they're still working on the albums. Their style is very artistic and candid. Our thank you cards are not included in the packages. I think ours was package D. We met with the album designer back in September and still waiting for the album. They say it takes 9-10 months since it's custom made.

Yes, we also have our videographer from Cassarino as well. We love our video and got it back about 9 weeks after the wedding.

Whatever you ladies decide I'm sure you'll find the 'right' photographer for your special day. The pics will be beautiful.

I also book VIP Studios. I chose the Diamond package which comes with the 100 pictures also. With 2 photographers there is piece of mind that ever moment will be captured. With 1050 proofs, I would say so!

If not...then I think it is kinda high.
