Due to the fact I am having a 11am CM and 1pm CH, most photographers want us to miss our CH, which is our fav. place of our Hall ( Lombardis on the Sound). They asked us if it was okay to take pics before the CM!!! Has anyone done this, I always wanted my FH to see me coming down the isle, for the first time??? These vendors

Before? Couldn't they take the pictures during the CH or after? I'm having the ceremony at 11:30am and I'm actually gonna do that.
You're not supposed to be at the CH if you want a grand entrance during your reception, ie. when your Mc introduce you as Mrs. and Mr. for hte first itme. You know?
Otherwise,it's ok to take pictures before CM too. I've seen that, it'll make you less nervous at the CM. :)

i dont understand why they cant take photos between the ceremony and cocktail hour??wont you have time in between
DH and i saw each other before the ceremony and i dont regret it at all.... it calmed us both down, but we did it that way because we had no time in between the ceremony and CH (our ceremony was at the hall)
Because I am getting married at the RH and am only having a 1/2 hour cocktail, my FH and I are going to take pics b4 we walk down the isle. I am going to be there one hour after he arrives and then when I come we will see each other. I tried to get around it but then everyone misses the CH 1/2 hr. The way the photographer set it up it should be nice. But you have lots of time in between. Maybe you should check on a different photographer, if you have that kind of time. It's frustrating but good luck!

its perfectly fine to see eachother before - but only if thats what you want! please dont do it just bc thats what the photographer says -
i personally dont want FH to see me before. . . don't compromise on this you only get to do it once!
maybe call up a few photographers and see what they think about the time :) you will have at least an hour in between. . . maybe if you dont have a big famiyl or a big bridal party they can squeeze most of the pictures in between!
