Go with your gut. Consider that you may be out 1k if you switch.... but you have to do what you feel is right.

I've booked all of my vendors so far because of the first impression and the feeling FH and I both got.

I've stopped looking once I found 'the one'.

I definitely agree that you have to go with your gut! We booked vendors based on how we connected with them because we think that is most important for our relationship during our wedding and how comfortable we all will be. Did you get a contract with your deposit? If so, check and see if there are any details about the refund policy on deposits and/or call them and just see.

I would feel bad calling for a refund of the deposit BUT you have to remember that these vendors deal with hard clients all the time and all you're doing is asking a question that I'm sure tons of brides to be ask! go for it girl..

so i'm leaning more towards changing my photographer however if i cannot get my initial deposit back, i cannot go with the photographer i like more now.....what would you girls do?! help!

find out from your photographer if its a refundable deposit! then go from there!
